I’m Itzik Woda, founder of TriFold Technologies and a fractional Chief AI Officer for mid-to-large enterprises.
I’ve spent 33 years in enterprise technology, in Israel and abroad: Nortel Networks, Comverse, Centerity, and SQream, and most recently IBM, as a Data & AI Specialist at IBM Israel. In the mid 2000s I worked in Africa and watched the 3G rollout let mobile banking leapfrog an entire generation of infrastructure. That experience shaped how I think about technology adoption: the winners weren’t the ones with the best technology, they were the ones who lined it up with how people actually work.
At IBM I kept seeing the same pattern in large organizations. Executives understood that AI mattered. Teams ran pilots. Very little reached production. The gap was rarely technical. It was alignment between business, data and IT, and governance. In 2024 I founded TriFold Technologies around that observation. Three folds. The work is getting them to hold.
How I work
People first.
Technology projects fail when people are ignored. Most of my work is alignment between executives, technical teams, and the business, not just architecture.
No hype.
AI should solve real problems and produce measurable results. I have little patience for initiatives designed to look good in a board deck but never built to run.
Systems thinking.
AI isn’t a tool you plug in. It’s an operating layer that touches data, processes, and decisions across the company, and I treat it that way.
Clear communication.
Years in enterprise sales taught me that an idea nobody can explain is an idea nobody adopts. I translate AI into language executives can act on.
Hands on.
I use the tools I advise on daily, from Claude Code and agent architectures to n8n automation. My recommendations come from building, not from analyst reports.
TriFold is a boutique. I work with a small number of clients at a time, which keeps the work focused and direct. Nothing gets delegated to a junior team, because there isn’t one. When a project needs more hands, I bring in specialists I’ve worked with for years and stay accountable for the outcome.
I work in English and Hebrew, from Israel, with clients in Israel and the United States.
